Los especialistas mencionan que la obesidad es producida porque despu\u00e9s de cierta cantidad de leptina en nuestro sistema, su sistema de transporte en la sangre se satura o porque produce alteraciones receptoras en el cerebro. Esta resistencia es lo que provoca un apetito exagerado. Esta hormona se encarga de metabolizar las grasas y repartirlas por todo el cuerpo. Durante la etapa de la pre menopausia, algunas mujeres pueden generar m\u00e1s hormonas de lo habitual lo que puede provocar un aumento de la grasa t\u00f3xica, lo que provocar un aumento en el peso. Cuando consumimos una dieta rica en az\u00facar, obligamos al cuerpo a producir m\u00e1s insulina y todo este consumo en exceso de az\u00facar se transforma en grasa, puesto que no se aprovecha como deber\u00eda. Seg\u00fan una investigaci\u00f3n realizada en el laboratorio de la Cl\u00ednica Universidad de Navarra esta hormona tiene el efecto de acular los l\u00edpidos en la grasa visceral, que es la que se encuentra en la zona abdominal. Para neutralizar su efecto se recomienda comer 5 comidas diarias (3 comidas fuertes y 2 colaciones), as\u00ed como no dejar pasar m\u00e1s de 4 horas sin comer y sobretodo evitar el ayuno.
